She seems passionate about her work, which varies from day to day, and is quick to render a warm smile.

"I work hard and it is fun. I have a passion for people. What I enjoy the most about my job is the versatility of all the details and my interaction with our staff and customers,'' Ms Hinds said.

She described herself as fair, always thinking of others, and one who espouses a positive attitude.

"My management style is working within the team and I am capable of seeing the big picture.'' According to Ms Hinds, the career of human resources offers diversity and opportunities if you have the passion for working. Two major qualifications are one's leadership ability and successful problem solving.

Just recently Ms Hinds was a presenter at CedarBridge Academy and Saltus sharing her career insights with young people. She encourages young people to consider the opportunities in retail and human resources.

"Marks & Spencer offers me flexibility and the working atmosphere is focused but relaxed. We have a wonderful group of people who are very dedicated to their jobs.

"Having a great boss always makes the work scene work better. I admire Mr.

Robinson, our general manager, for his ability to look at business matters objectively and for being considerate and respectful of others,'' concluded Ms Hinds.
