A dog agility show at the Botanical Gardens was a howling success, according to organisers.

Winton Agility Group (WAG) only formed last year but its second show on Sunday attracted up to 33 canine competitors.

Breeds ranged from German Shepherds and Terriers, to Whippets, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, Pitbull-crosses and even a Swedish Valhund.

The dogs took part in standard agility, pairs relay, and several games including jumpers, gamblers and snooker.

Kathy Williams, WAG secretary, said: "We had quite a variety of different breeds. It's been a fun day — everyone seemed to enjoy themselves."
