Cooking Clay
magnets and coasters. Below you will find the instructions for decorating glass.
Before you begin you will need: Pattered Friendly Clay Glass jar Sharp knife Spoon Once you finished you will need your oven to bake the finished jar.
First, slice the clay in thin pieces, (if you are going to use this for a candle, slicing very thin will allow the light to shine through).
Starting at the top lay one square on the jar and using the back of a spoon apply small amounts of pressure to stick the clay on.
Put the second square next to the first a few millimetres away and using the spoon smooth the square out until it reaches to first, bonding the two together.
Continue this procedure until the sides are covered. (Covering the bottom is optional but must be completely flat in order to stand properly).
Now, set your oven at 265 degrees Fahrenheit and bake your design for 30-40 minutes.
Once cool you can use the jar for candles, decorative soaps, paper clips, flowers or give as a beautiful present.
