Four thugs beat up a man in front of his two young sons because they wanted his jewellery.Police say the victim was hit repeatedly with a piece of wood and had a bottle broken over his head in the incident, which took place yesterday on Rambling Lane in Pembroke.A spokesman said the robbery happened just after 5pm as the man walked with his two sons, aged four and ten."It appears the victim was approached by four males who made demands for his jewellery. The four men then set upon the victim beating him about the body with a piece of wood also breaking a bottle over the victim’s head. The culprits then stole a piece of jewelry before they made good their escape.
