Somerset Trojans v –North Village

Somerset will be looking to get three points from tonight's game, only their second home game of the campaign, and return to winning ways.

Having played five of their first six games on the road, the men from the West End will certainly be attempting to make Somerset Cricket Club a fortress.

Their task at hand is to overcome the hottest team in the league at the moment and with skipper Jelani Scott coming back into the fold, along with Adrian Burrows and Jelani Butterfield hitting their stride, it seems they will be a formidable proposition to handle.

Yet, the Dudley Eve champions are on top of their game and will see this match as an avenue at getting back in the title hunt.

With the tireless worth ethic of their strikers along with a solid back four, don't expect many goals in this match.

Prediction: 1-1.

Southampton Rangers –v Dandy Town

Considering how things are going for Dandy Town at the moment, this could be a make or break game for them.

Currently lying in the lower half of the league table, and having issues in front of goal, the St. John's Field outfit must wake up from the dream they're in before they find themselves miles behind the title contenders and looking at the drop zone.

They won't find the going easy against a Southampton Rangers side that has been consistent thus far this season.

Albert Smith's men took a valuable point against Somerset Eagles last time out and will be confident of getting something out of this as well.

With Rohaan Simons looking to pose problems for the Hornets back line, the onus will be on the midfield, most notably Keemo Smith, to keep the ball moving and finding gaps to exploit.

Prediction: 2-2

Devonshire Colts v –Hamilton Parish

A month ago this would have been a simple game for Hamilton Parish, with the way out-of-sorts Devonshire Colts were playing.

How things have changed in the last four games, with both sides going in opposite directions.

One win in six outings has seen the Crawl Hill club lying at the bottom with no end in sight for their slump.

Their opponents have now won two games, twice as many as last year, and will be looking at this match as a game they should win.

Striker Andre Famous has stepped up to provide the finishing the side has been lacking and with Joseph Butterfield at the back, they should be believe three points are within their grasp.

Prediction: Colts 3-2

Somerset Eagles v PHC

There won't be a better time for Somerset Eagles to get out of their current rot than to snatch a win against PHC and get themselves back in the title race.

Eagles are looking a shadow of the team that enjoyed such a flying start to the season, but a win could really catapult them back up the standings considering many of the other title hopefuls are clashing against each other.

PHC would go one point behind leaders Boulevard if they win and Blazers lose.

Knowing that they can put themselves in a good position, and with their current form, this should be three points for Kyle Lightbourne's men.

Prediction: PHC 2-1

Boulevard v –Devonshire Cougars

The game of the week will have everything that a fan could ask for. The champions against the league leaders, this match can go either way given the make up of both sides.

Cougars will have to shake off their embarrassing 4-1 thrashing last week at the hands of PHC if they are to get back into the title race.

And a win against Blazers will do just that, closing the gap to just two points.

Boulevard on the other hand have hit top gear and are seemingly cruising at the moment, although coach Andrew Bascome will be aware of the attacking prowess his former squad possesses.

The key could be the standard of goalkeeping. Both teams will require their man between the sticks to not suffer a case of the 'big game' jitters.

Prediction: Cougars 2-1
