Kyle back in action for Stoke
Christmas.
The Bermudian international, who fears he may be forced to leave English Second Division side Stoke City, because of a lack of opportunities, came on as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 victory over Bury.
Lightbourne replaced former England international Tony Dorigo in the Potters' line-up after 78 minutes of the match at the Britannia Stadium on Boxing Day.
It was his first appearance in a red-and-white shirt since being part of the side demolished 8-0 by Premiership giants Liverpool in the Worthington Cup.
He was dropped for the next League match despite having scored two goals against Swindon Town in the game prior to the cup debacle.
Lightbourne, whose contract is up at the end of the season, hadn't even figured in reserve team matches for Stoke, although he was travelling with the team to first-11 fixtures.
He believes he may have to quit the club because of moves by manager, Gudjon Thordarson, to bring in several new players in his position.
The manager has brought an Icelandic striker in on loan and recently spent 300,000 on Burnley frontman Andy Cooke, who has been an instant success at his new club.
Stoke's goals on Tuesday were scored by Rikki Dadason and Brynjar Gunnarsson.
