Dear Sir

I read with interest your article in yesterday’s RG concerning ‘non performing loans’. Do you recall, Mr Editor, not so long ago local banks were offering 100 percent loans to persons who couldn’t afford a mortgage in the first place? This is called ‘Sub-Prime’ which is one of the atrocious practices banks are past masters at. The ‘greed factor’ is alive and well in Bermuda.

I hope bank shareholders get hold of those guilty of putting people into financial despair and drag them before the courts for what is in reality misappropriation of funds.
