Miami Olympic Classes Regatta in Florida yesterday.Carola Cooper fared the best of the Island's three-strong contingent, placing sixth overall in a fleet of 25 after the first three races of the Europe Dinghy class.

Carola Cooper fared the best of the Island's three-strong contingent, placing sixth overall in a fleet of 25 after the first three races of the Europe Dinghy class.
Cooper finished fifth in the first race and eighth in the next two.
Elizabeth Walker endured a tough opening in the 470 class, placing 10th out of 11 after three races with finishes of eighth, tenth and ninth.
And in the huge Laser fleet, which boasts some 65 boats, Christian Luthi was in 32nd place after four races with finishes of 11th, 23rd, 16th and 16th.
The regatta continues through the weekend.
