Local company BF&M Life Insurance Company Limited has partnered with Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada with the end result that the clients of both companies will have better access to insurance products.

BF&M CEO Glenn Titterton said the arrangement will enable Sun Life Financial advisors to market and distribute a broad range of products from BF&M Life.

In addition, the agreement will enable BF&M Life representatives to market and distribute Sun Life Financial products. The arrangement will reportedly put the advisors and representatives from both companies in a strong position to serve the interests of their clients, group policyholders and plan members, with provision of life, health, dental and disability products.

Mr. Titterton said: "This agreement is focused on substantially improving services available to the clients of both BF&M Life and Sun Life Financial in Bermuda."

Principal Representative and Sun Life Financial Centre Manager in Bermuda, Ken Spurling said: "This new networking agreement is designed to serve the needs of our Bermuda clients"

And Mr. Titterton added: "It will strengthen customer relationships by providing both Sun Life Financial and BF&M Life producers with a complementary and broader range of insurance products and services. For clients it will mean more choice and an opportunity to maintain an existing relationship with their Sun Life or BF&M Life Financial advisor."
