The Police Gymkhana kicks off Police Week 2014 on October 4. Everyone is encouraged to come out for a fun-filled day at the Police Field in Prospect from 10am until 4pm. Youngsters aged three to 16 will be able to participate in bicycle activities and races within a safe environment, while fostering positive interactions with police officers. There are lots of prizes to be won and gombeys will close out the day’s activities. Admission is free. All that is required to take part is a working bicycle and an approved bicycle helmet. Enjoy an evening of singing your heart out as the Corporation of St George’s Activities Committee presents Karaoke in the Square, a family karaoke night on Saturday, October 11.
