There are only a few weeks left before the deadline for applications to operate the Horseshoe Bay Beach House Café for a five-year period from next year.

A tender by the Ministry of Public Works said applications to operate the café had to be in by July 1.

Tender documents added that the site would be available from April 1 next year.

The successful bidder will be responsible for any needed improvements to the premises.

The document added that “championing the cause for environmental friendly processes, services, and efficient management of trash disposal”, were major considerations and would be taken into account when bids were examined.

The documents also specified that the premises must be open during regular business daylight hours and at other times at the discretion of the landlord.
