Operating permission for Animal & Garden House withdrawn
Permission for Animal & Garden House to operate during the lockdown has been taken back only a day after being granted.
Jennifer McCarron, who runs the online business selling pet feed and gardening supplies was contacted by the Bermuda Police Service on Friday evening.
“I just received a call from Lyndon Raynor notifying that my exemption was sent erroneously and the online form I received was in error,” Ms McCarron said. “Effective immediately I am to cease operations during the remaining stay at home period.”
She did not want to comment further.
Government revealed in their latest press conference that pet stores will be allowed to operate again when some current restrictions are loosened on Tuesday at 5am.
Ms McCarron received a letter of permission to operate her online business on Wednesday, and since has been busy delivering to customers. Other pet stores did not receive permission to operate.
