"Did you know that one of Bermuda's precious endemics is the Killifish (Fundulus bermudae)? If you've never seen this little fellow, go look in the mini-tank section in the Mangrove aquarium and you can observe him.
"He is about two and a half inches long, with a low dorsal fin, light brown to pale greenish yellow, darker on the ventral surface.
" He also sports dark, indistinct greenish-brown bands on his sides. He usually frequents fresh to brackish water ponds, particularly those fringed with mangroves.
"One of our visiting interns is doing a study on this species this summer which is revealing much new and fascinating information. Stay tuned.'' TOURISM TOU
