robbed of cash by a group of men on Christmas Eve.
The man told Police that at about 7 p.m. he was at the Mount Area Club when he bought a drink for a man he knew.
He said that a few minutes later he went outside in the parking lot and was pushed to the ground by the same man as well as five other men.
A Police spokesman said: "While lying on the ground a man reached into his pocket and removed a quantity of cash. The men then made good their mistakes.
Police investigations are continuing.'' MAN NEEDED STITCHES CRM Man needed stitches A 49-year-old man needed stitches to face wounds after being mugged on Christmas Eve.
The victim got off a bus in Heron Bay, Warwick, just after midnight and was walking home over Camp Hill when the mugger struck.
The attacker shouted at the man and demanded two dollars.
When he was refused he punched his would-be target in the stomach, chest and face.
The victim, of Wellman Lane, Warwick, needed five stitches in a cut below his eye, a stitch in an eye wound and also suffered cuts on his nose and knee.
Police inquiries into the incident are continuing.

The man exposed himself to a horrified Warwick woman after a his hand appeared through her living room window blinds and pulled them up.
The 39-year-old, of North Shore Road, began shouting and went over to the window to investigate -- and saw the man exposing himself.
A Police spokesman said inquiries into the incident, which happened just after midnight, are continuing.
