Capital G to give young internet audience investment tips
Capital G has signed up to partner the Island's hottest new online destination, Style Bermuda, in a bid to access a younger community that understands the importance of their future and investments.
The partnership marks the launch of a new weekly segment covering finance tips, a series on how to begin investing, creating budgets, using and applying for credit, business banking and a question and answer part with advice from Capital G representatives.
"We at Capital G are always looking to support fresh and innovative initiatives in Bermuda, and are pleased to be a part of this new multi-faceted website," said Michael DeCouto, senior vice-president of marketing for Capital G.
To kick off the series, the first column will focus on "How to not go broke during the holidays." Following topics will focus on how to be conscious of spending habits, savings and the financial future.
The "Capital G Girls: Stylish, Smart and Financially Savvy" will also seek to understand how to balance being on the scene, travel, and consumption with work and planning for the future.
In addition, Style Bermuda is set to host events so its chic community can connect with Capital G's financial planners and learn more about financial planning.
"Style Bermuda is dedicated to growing with its members," said Shiona Turini, founder of Style Bermuda.
"When I launched this online destination I wanted to offer my community easy access to things that affect me on a daily basis-style, design, new cultural connections, business and finance.
"Capital G really understands all of these things, and because of this they are the perfect financial partners-they offer a way for youth to have a financial source that they can relate to."
