Competing against 62 nations, the men's team of Mike McCallum, Conrad Lister, Dean Lightbourn, Steven Riley, Victor Thompson and Ty Wiliams took 23rd place overall with a scratch team total of 5840.

The women's team of Bobbie Ingham, Donna Amaral, Darnell Raynor, Charletta Samuels, June Pitt and Patricia Price placed 27th with 5342.

Riley finished tied for 26th place with a score of 1284 in the men's singles division while Lightbourn tied for 68th with 1224 in the huge field of 358.

Lister placed 145th, McCallum 214th, Thompson 250th and Williams 347th.

The event was won by Canada's Marc Coi with a score of 1,364.

Price proved to be the best on the women's team, bowling 1204 which left her tied for 15th while the next Bermudian woman was Amaral in 118th spot. Pitt finished 121st, Raynor 174th, Samuels 185th and Ingham 189th. From the field of 253 competitors, Debby Ship of Canada emerged victorious with 1318.

Thompson and McCallum finished 58th out of 180 with a a score of 2379 in the men's doubles while the teams of Lightbourn/Lister and Riley/Williams ended up 87th and 185th respectively. Tomas Leadnerson and Raymond Jansson of Sweden won the division on 2702.

Out of 129 entries in the women's doubles, Ingham and Raynor were 60th after rolling 2197. Next in 90th place were Amaral/Price with 2101 while Pitt/Samuels posted 2054 to finish 104th.

The men's team event was won by Holland with a 6282 score and the women's event by Finland with 5974.
