Historian Browder returns
provide survival strategies for Africans around the world.
Mr. Browder was last in Bermuda in April last year and again appears as a guest of the Committee for the Study of African Culture.
As an author, educational consultant and public speaker, Mr. Browder encourages the "acquisition and application of knowledge as stepping stones to self-empowerment and freedom''.
Local organiser Melvyn Rabain said the lecture will address modern issues of identity, family crises, building institutions and racism.
The lecture will be held at the St. Paul's Centennial Hall on May 22, beginning at 7.30 a.m.
And this year Mr. Browder's 15-year-old daughter, Atlantis Tye Browder, will also give a presentation.
Ms Browder's address -- also to be held at Centennial Hall -- is primarily for young people, but is open to all and will be held on May 23 at 6 p.m.
