The Collectors Hill Esso gas station re-opened as a Tiger Market last week and now offers hot food and basic groceries seven days a week between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. The new Tiger Market is just the latest in a string of fast-food developments at Collectors Hill. Mister Chicken opened a new franchise in February and the Specialty Inn has branched out into sushi, oriental food and pizza. The new Tiger Market owners Craig and Antoinette Cannonier commented that they are not concerned by the local competition and are very pleased by the area's development.

However, increased traffic to the area is likely to produce further calls for a roundabout or some other form of traffic control at the busy intersection.
