Mr. Patriarca has been on the Island for five years, working for the Fisherman's Reef, Loquats and Oscars.
Primavera, which is Italian for spring, is part of a group of restaurants that includes Tio Pepe, on South Road, Southampton, and the Margaret Rose, at The St. George's Club timeshare complex.
Mr. Angeli said: "We are putting an emphasis on friendliness, good service and healthy Italian food.'' The restaurant is open seven days a week for dinners, which are served from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Lunch is available from Monday to Friday, between 11.45 p.m. and 2.30 p.m.
Mr. Daniel Kenyon has been appointed Retail Sales Specialist of Business Systems Ltd, which is based at Richmond House, Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton.
Mr. Kenyon, a Canadian, joined the firm Michael George Victor, of Toronto where he held a similar position.
Ms Leanna Butterfield , manager of Bermuda Pharmacy, in Hamilton, has been selected to attend the American Pharmaceutical Association/SmithKline Beacham Community Pharmacy Management Programme at the University of Wisconsin in July, 1993.
The programme is an intensive, seven-day management symposium presenting a curriculum from the University of Wisconsin at Madison College of Pharmacy and the College of Business.
Participants are chosen by The American Pharmaceutical Association from among licensed pharmacist applicants who represent the top of their profession.
The programme is designed to bring leaders in community pharmacy together in a university environment for concentrated study, sharing and growth.
This year's educational sessions include communication skills, marketing concepts, innovative practices in pharmacy, strategic planning, customer relations, promotion, quality assurance systems, management information support systems for quality assurance, analysis of financial statements and motivation and leadership skills for pharmacy managers.
