Shares jump: WEEKLY STOCKS UPDATE

issues gained, two declined and four closed unchanged. The big rebound follows two week's of declines.
TeleBermuda International Ltd., trading for the first time on Thursday, closed at $8.50 on volume of 500 shares.
Bank of Bermuda, the largest constituent of the index, gained $1 to close at $18 while the bank's warrants were up five cents to 80 cents. Bank of Butterfield closed up 75 cents at $9.75. BF&M preferred closed at $8.75, up 25 cents. Total value of trading was $846,709.75.
The index closed up 33.53 points, or 3.62 percent, at 960.38.
