The popular Hamilton Harbour boat parade is to return this year.The parade, which is now held every two years, was last held in 2009.Organiser Norma Thomson yesterday promised this year’s event on December 10 would be “bigger and better than ever”.She called for private boat owners, companies, charities and community groups to enter boats.“We want to make sure as many people as possible are aware of the date of the parade as early as possible. Getting boats to participate is always our most challenging task, but we hope that boat owners will make a special effort and come out and support the event by signing up through our website.
