Mr. McAuley is a former partner of Montreal-based McMaster Gervais.

He is past president of the wills and trusts section of the Canadian Bar Association and the immediate past president of the wills and trusts section of the International Bar Association's committe on wills, trusts, and successions.

*** Jeffrey Patterson has been promoted to general manager of Engravers Ltd. He takes over from David Horst .

Mr. Patterson joined the company as a management trainee in 1990. He later served as plant manager and assisted in the launching of Chameleon Digital Press, a wholly owned subsidiary.
