An osprey tucks into a fish it has caught. The large bird of prey was one of three spotted at Morgan's Point.

An impressive osprey has been photographed tucking into a fish it had caught on the western side of the Island.The large bird of prey was one of three spotted at Morgan's Point during an Island-wide Christmas bird count by the Bermuda Audubon Society. The bird count recorded more than 100 different species across Bermuda.Ospreys are occasional visitors to Bermuda and have a wingspan of up to six feet. The birds feed almost exclusively on fish. Bermuda Audubon Society’s Andrew Dobson took the photograph of the osprey feeding.
