Exchange (BSX) as a listing sponsor member, joining four other previously approved firms.

The BSX sponsors category is open to law firms, accounting firms, fund managers, trust companies and other service providers who meet specific criteria laid down by the exchange.

The latest firm meeting those criteria is Quorum Sponsors Ltd., a subsidiary of law firm Mello, Hollis, Jones & Martin.

The BSX said the new firm, incorporated this October, has received listing sponsor membership approval.

In this membership capacity, Quorum Sponsors Ltd. is entitled to sponsor applications for new listings of mutual funds, Eurobonds, depository receipts, and secondary listings. They may also sponsor primary listings in conjunction with a BSX trading member.

Chief operating officer of the BSX, Greg Wojciechowski, said, "We are excited about the growth of this membership category, as these members provide a channel through which new business is attracted to not only the BSX, but to Bermuda as well.''
