Butterfield shares climb 3.3% on BSX

Shares of Butterfield Bank gained 3.3 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The bank added $1.25 to close on $39.50 as 4,000 shares changed hands.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares gained 32 cents, or 0.8 per cent, to close on $40.14 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 67.05 points, or 2.58 per cent, to close on 2,667.68. For the week, the index gained 2.51 per cent.
The BSX Insurance Index added 8.28 points, or 0.46 per cent, to close on 1,813.36.
