BOSNIA BOUND -- Rain didn't dampen the generosity of Bermudians who over the weekend donated toys and clothes for the Medjugorje Peace Plan. (From left) Joe Pacheo, Mrs. Rita Perreira, Dorothy Pacheo, and Carolyn DeSilva on Saturday staffed the Peace Plan's food bin outside Lindo's supermarket. The plan hopes to collect toys, clothes, and food to brighten Christmas in Bosnia.
Spokesperson Lucy Willitts told The Royal Gazette donations can be dropped off at the group's new warehouse facility at the old Naval Air Station at Kindley Field. People are instructed to proceed through the gates, turn right towards the warehouse and watch for signs. For further information call: 292-6185.
