A team from Appleby acted as Cayman Islands and Bermuda legal counsel to global semiconductor company Marvell Technology Inc, on a corporate restructuring in connection with its $10 billion acquisition of Inphi Corporation, a leader in high-speed data movement.

The combination is said to have created a “US semiconductor powerhouse positioned for end-to-end technology leadership in data infrastructure”.

The acquisition was completed last month and created the combined company, Marvell Technology Inc, which is a Delaware corporation domiciled in the United States.

The Appleby team involved as legal counsel to Marvell was led by corporate partner, Jacob MacAdam and included partner Jerome Wilson and associates Vance Power and Riley O’ Brien.
