The newly repainted Common Ground cafe at 11 Chancery Lane in Hamilton will be abuzz with art lovers this evening as they gather to mark the official opening of Select Palette Art's newest exhibition, 'Artists' Favourites'.

The mixed media collection features the work of Vernon Clarke, Barbara Dillas, Rhona Emmerson, Milton Hill, Emma Ingham-Dounouk, Miles Manders, Scott Stallard, Trevor Todd and Ms Pearson. It ranges from oils and watercolours to mother-of-pearl gombeys in shadow boxes, and a large, multi-media collage.

"The artists are a really cool, eclectic group of Bermudians who are all happy to work together, and I think their work looks really great," Susan Pearson, of Select Palette Art, says.

The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and all are welcome.
