Festival Director Aideen Ratteray-Pryse said: "Tickets are now on sale. As in previous years they are not expected to last long.

"You can purchase individual tickets at $10 each or buy full or partial film passes.'' Tickets are available from the Visitor Service Bureau on Front Street. After April 13 tickets will be available at the Liberty and Little Theatres.

Also on sale now are party tickets for the opening bash on April 14 on board a boat.

The $40 fee pays for all your food and drink as you rub shoulders with filmmakers.

And there is a closing night party at La Coquille Restaurant on April 20.

Tickets for this event are also $40.
