Keith Peniston, 36, of Long Range Hill, and Legary Vernon Hodge, 36, of Alexandra Road, were found sitting on a mattress in a derelict building on Court Street around 3 p.m. on October 12.

Prosecuting, Sgt. Earl Kirby said the owner of the building, H.G. Smith had had problems with people using the building as a drug "shooting gallery''.

And although Peniston and Hodge were not found to be using drugs, Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis told them to stay away from the building.

"Have you got the message that the owner of this building is serious,'' Mr.

Francis asked them.

"He does not want anybody making that building their home or using it for all kinds of purposes.

"I'm not saying you were using it as a shooting gallery. But you understand now you have to find somewhere else.'' Peniston, who said he did not notice the "no trespassing'' sign until Police pointed it out, promised to stay away from the derelict site.
