Man denies attacking his niece
A man denied an assault on his niece and a threat to split her head with a cement block.
Steven Ming, 56, pleaded not guilty yesterday to behaving in a threatening manner towards Nikkisha Ming by picking up a cement block and saying “I’ll split your f****** head, girl, don’t talk s*** to me.”
He also pleaded not guilty to an assault on Ms Ming.
The incidents are alleged to have happened on February 8 in Pembroke.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe adjourned the case until March 9 and released Mr Ming, of Sandys, on $2,000 bail
Mr Wolffe ordered the defendant to have no contact with the alleged victim and to stay away from her home, which he shared with her.
