Shares of Ascendant Group were down 40 cents, or 1.3 per cent, at $30.60 after 400 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

One Communications Ltd improved by five cents, or 1.3 per cent, to $3.90 after 200 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was up five cents, or 0.2 per cent, at $24.30 after 131 shares were exchanged. On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up $1.48, or 6.31 per cent, at $24.93.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.92 of a point, or 0.05 per cent, at 1,782, while the BSX Insurance Index rose 78.56 points, or 5.83 per cent, to 1,425.29.
