Perinchief case is put off

against Governor Lord Waddington, the Public Service Commission, the Attorney General and Police Commissioner Colin Coxall will start today.
A partial hearing in the civil matter began yesterday before Puisne Judge Norma Wade but was adjourned after ten minutes because of the funeral of the late Opposition Leader Frederick Wade, Mrs. Justice Wade's ex-husband.
The civil matter, which has arisen from Mr. Perinchief's forced retirement from the Police Service, will start this morning in Supreme Court.
Mr. Perinchief is represented by lawyers Delroy Duncan and Juan Woolfe.
Solicitor General Barrie Meade and Crown Counsel Leighton Rochestor appear on behalf of the Government.
