Every to be GM at Meyer-Franklin

Meyer-Franklin Travel has promoted Bermudian Kim Every to the new position of general manager.

Ms Every will oversee the agency's day-to-day operations, direct the marketing and sales functions, manage relationships with travel vendors and help to formulate the strategy for the company.

She will report to Meyer-Franklin Travel president Cheryl Hayward-Chew and will have the support of an experienced management team.

Ms. Every began her 26-year travel-industry career with American Airlines in 1982, joining Franklin Travel in 1986 and advancing to the role of leisure travel manager in 1999, where she developed a loyal clientele. Franklin Travel agency merged with Meyer Travel to become Meyer-Franklin Travel in 2002.

Mrs. Hayward-Chew said: "I am confident that Kim's expertise and skills will allow Meyer-Franklin Travel to continue its leadership in the fast-changing world of travel. Today, I am delighted to be announcing Kim's promotion and know that her energy and capabilities will be an excellent asset to the company and our valued customers."
