Bermudian pro golfer Michael Sims has had moderate success on the South American Tour thus far.

He finished joint 56th at ten-over par in the Mexico Open on November 28 and on Sunday tied for 26th with four-over par in the Panama Open.

The 25-year-old earned $941.25 for his first result and $1,680 in Panama.

Sims, who narrowly failed to qualify for the final round of PGA Tour Qualifying School last month, starts the Peru Open today at Los Incas Golf Club in Lima where $168,000 in prize money is up for grabs.
