Man flown to Jamaica after being stabbed in Pembroke
A Devonshire man was flown to Jamaica for treatment after he was attacked with a "pointed object" on Tuesday.
According to a Police spokesman, the 38-year-old victim was attacked in the Langton Hill area in Pembroke by someone he knew.
Police said: "The Devonshire man sustained a wound to his upper torso and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
"He was in the intensive care unit in stable condition before being flown overseas to University Hospital of the West Indies in Jamaica for further medical treatment."
A 43-year-old St. George's man was arrested in connection to the attack after he was treated at KEMH for facial injuries.
Police are asking for any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
