Police were interviewing a 31-year-old man yesterday in connection with a serious sexual assault which took place in Pembroke in the early hours of Saturday.

Other than to say the attack took place at 4.40 a.m. on Saturday, Police released no further details.

A Police spokesman said yesterday he could neither confirm nor deny a report on ZBM news that the woman had been injured in the attack.
