Insurance managers as well as auditors, actuaries, lawyers, regulators, bankers and other employees in the insurance management industry are the target audience for a daylong ‘education summit’ on key industry subjects.The Bermuda Insurance Management Association (BIMA) in partnership with the Bermuda Insurance Institute (BII) have organised the event, which is to be held at the at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel on May 15. Seminars will be led by industry leaders, according to the press release announcing the event, and they will be examining a variety of topics including the regulatory changes which impact the captive insurance industry, the growth of Insurance Linked Securities, the role of the captive director; developments in the Bermuda Business Development Corporation, and more.
