Parents invited to free Mirrors workshop
If you want to build your parenting skills, there is still space to sign up for a free Parents Workshop being operated by the Mirrors Programme, Government said yesterday.“The workshops are specifically designed to help motivate and empower adults to be more effective with their children and other youth in their community.“The Parent Workshop is an interactive programme which runs for two and a half days. Benefits of the programme include having a renewed appreciation for self and what it means to be a parent, new ideas on how to effectively work with young people and a sense of empowerment and confidence in producing improved results.“The Parent Workshop is being held at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Friday, January 18th from 6.00pm — 9.00pm and Saturday and Sunday, January 19th and 20th from 9.00am — 6.00pm.“Those interested are asked to contact Jennifer Ross at The Mirrors Programme on 294-9291 or jaross@gov.bm to register.”
