Bermudians Vera Petty and Roman Smolski just missed winning the Stratified Championship Pairs on Wednesday evening, after having gone into the second session with a lead of two points over Margie Sullivan and Myles Walsh from Massachusetts.
Sullivan and Walsh had an impressive 71percent game in the second session, which gave them first place overall, beating Petty and Smolski by four percentage points. Rachael Gosling and Craig Hutton, also from Bermuda, did well to place second in Strat B and first in Strat C.
The Bracketed Championship Knockout Teams reach the Semi-final stage on Wednesday, with two Bermuda teams each competing for a place in the finals in Flights B & C.
