Shares of Ascendant Group Ltd slipped five cents in quiet Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The parent group of electricity provider Belco dipped 0.8 percent to $5.90 on the trading of 100 shares and was the only stock to trade.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.43 of a point, or 0.03 percent, to close on 1,378.97.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 12.35 points, or 0.86 percent, to close on 1,452.52.
