In its latest update released at 4:30pm, the Bermuda Weather Service has warned that conditions on the Island will deteriorate this evening as Tropical Storm Fay draws near.
Winds, showers, and the risk of thunder will rapidly increase as Fay heads to the southeast. By mid-evening winds will reach gale force.
On Sunday morning, winds are expected to decrease, although hazardous swells and surf will remain into Sunday night. The weather service says high pressure will then rapidly build, bringing settled conditions through Tuesday.
