A charter vessel with 29 passengers aboard was temporarily lodged in shallows in the area of Paradise Lakes on Saturday night, Bermuda Maritime Operations said.

The boat Spellbound ran aground on Saturday, with its skipper opting to wait for the tide in order to refloat. The vessels Friendship and Reef Explorer came to assist.

However, the vessel was able to head off to Rockaway about an hour later, and returned to its moorings.
