Man accused of prowling is remanded

A Devonshire man accused of prowling outside a Euclid Avenue home has been put behind bars pending trial.

David Fubler, 52, denied the alleged incident, which took place sometime on Sunday. At that time, Mr Fubler was still on probation for a trespassing charge, and the court heard he has multiple previous convictions for similar offences dating back several decades.

However the court also heard that Mr Furbert has psychological challenges and would be best served if mental health reports were carried out before sentencing.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered that Mr Fubler be remanded until early next month so that reports on the defendant’s mental health can be conducted.
