Ascendant falls to $6

Shares of three companies fell in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.
Insurer BF&M Ltd suffered the sharpest dip, sliding 50 cents, or 2.6 percent, to $18.50, on the trading of 7,200 shares.
Ascendant Group Ltd, the parent company of Belco, slipped ten cents, or 1.6 percent, to hit a 52-week low of $6, as 3,000 of its shares were exchanged.
Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd also fell, dipping one cent, or 0.3 percent, to close on $3.20 as 500 shares changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 4.35 points, or 0.31 percent, to close on 1,391.82.
Volume was 49,281 shares while turnover topped $287,000.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 15.48 points, or 1.05 percent, to close on 1,484.65.
