Traffic was delayed on South Road in Devonshire this morning after an accident near the entrance to Rocky Bay Lane.

It is understood that a pedestrian was in the road when “clipped” by a passing motorcycle.

Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Fire and Rescue attended the scene before 9am, along with an ambulance, and the injured pedestrian was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Traffic on the road has since returned to normal.
