Mini floats create a sea of colour
Created: Jun 01, 2021 07:51 AM
A sea of colour was showcased in the Botanical Gardens for Bermuda Day over the holiday weekend.
There were 53 entries submitted for the Department of Culture’s first ever Heritage Month Mini-Float Challenge – some of which went on display from Friday to yesterday at the slat house in the Paget park.
The challenge was put on in partnership with the Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, while BGA, Butterfield & Vallis and Rowe Spurling Paint Company donated pallets for the displays.
Categories included best art float, best natural heritage float and best upcycled float.
