Butterfield shares inch lower on NYSE

There were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which closed unchanged at 2,553.64.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 10 cents, or 0.02 per cent, at $37.92.
The BSX Insurance Index improved 27.81 points, or 1.6 per cent, to 1,770.9.
In separate news, Butterfield Bank repurchased for cancellation 40,000 common shares in May at an average price of $38.74 per share.
