Butterfield shares fall 4% in New York

No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,595.52.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares slid 93 cents, or 4.14 per cent, to close on $21.52 on the New York Stock Exchange, as 235,092 shares changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index dipped 11.51 points, or 0.97 per cent, to close on 1,170.18.
