Tropical Storm Bertha uneventfully passed Bermuda last night after weakening from hurricane strength.
TS Bertha passed its closest point of approach at 10pm 349 nautical miles to the northwest.
The storm reached hurricane strength for a time on Monday and is no longer considered a potential threat.
While the storm system itself is not expected to have any major impact on the Island, an associated front is likely to bring Bermuda strengthening winds and showers over the next few days.
Tropical Storm Bertha is the second named storm of the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season, which is expected to be quieter than average according to early forecasts.
